Two Club Members
Compete at Sectionals:
 
The club had two athletes who qualified to compete in the 2006 Pacific Coast Sectional Championships in Escondido, California. November 11th–13th 2005. The Calaway sisters each earned their opportunity to compete after qualifying in the Pacific Northwest Regional Championships that were held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Karalee competed up two levels! Competing as a Junior, she placed 10th. Kendra competed in the Novice level and placed 12th. The Pacific Coast Section is one of three qualifying sections of the United States. Congratulations, ladies!

Club Members Shine at  2006 Regional:
 
Tri-Cities FSC competitors made a statement at the 2006 Northwest Pacific Regional Championships in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, October 18th- 21st 2005. The Pacific Northwest Region is comprised of the following states: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. The following skaters turned in excellent performances to earn medals in their qualifying events. Great Job, skaters!

  • Karalee Calaway – Pewter medal, Junior Ladies

  • Kendra Calaway – Pewter medal, Novice Ladies

  • Britt Olsen – Gold medal, Intermediate Ladies

  • Kirsten Hale – (Alternate) 5th place, Intermediate Ladies

  • Edward Tea – Silver medal, Juvenile Boys

  • Sam Koch - Bronze medal, Intermediate Men, (Southwest Pacific Region), Sam is an associate member of the Tri-Cities Figure Skating Club.

It was an awesome showing by these qualifying level skaters. The rest of our team also skated very strong, had fun, made new friends, and gained valuable experience for next year. Hats off to you all. We also congratulate the coaches and parents for their success in preparing and supporting these athletes!

Congratulations!  To the following TCFSC competitors who advanced to the US Junior National Championships in Westminster, Colorado.  Edward Tea is now ranked 7th in the entire United States in the Boys Juvenile level. Great Job! Eddie.
